Economical foundation. Option 2

Really a matter of economy in construction right now is not the last. And the constant inflation and economic crisis, which is not clear on how long it drags on and what the result will turn, make us think about ways to reduce costs.

In comments to the topic of "Economic foundations" I cited an interesting decision in the project base cost of our house. Now I want more details about him - maybe somebody may come in handy.

Foundation is designed for the home from a bar of 150x150 size 6x9 with verandah. Strip foundations shallow-buried, laying depth of 0,7 m, height 0,6 m. The reason for the foundation serves as a sand cushion thickness of 0.2 m. Thus, the very foundation buried at 0.5 meters and its total height is 1.1 meters and the width - 0,30 m.

Feature of the foundation is that the perimeter of the house is filled with concrete to the entire height and depth - 1,1 m under the load-bearing wall foundation is laid flush with the ground, ie, its depth is obtained by 0,5 m. This saves on the ground part of the foundation.

On the tape inside the perimeter of the house to the main points laid out the pillars height of 0.6 m of brick, which compares the height of the inner bearing with external. Since on these pillars is waistrail home, they make sense to establish a "nodal points" - in the corners of walls, in their beginning, end, intersections, and to evenly distribute the load on the beam and prevent it from sagging. The bottom stud is home already possible to fix the floor joists, to erect internal partitions, as if the foundation was tape.

We calculate how much we managed to save with this decision. If we filled the tape under the internal partitions on a par with the outside foundation, we would have spent more concrete for the house at: 15.48 m (the perimeter of the interior walls) * 0,3 m (width) * 0,6 m (height tape ) = 2.8 m3, plus fittings. Brick, 200 pieces, which became the replacement of the tape, it is worth about three times smaller. Another advantage is still possible to include and what is not necessary to construct the formwork for the foundation within the perimeter of the house, so to reduce the cost and materials, and labor.
